I had the opportunity to tour the entire place and I am so impressed with the people and the care for the pets! They... customize the care for each individual pet as requested by each owner. Then I received the pamphlet and could not believe the prices and so many choices. I recommend anyone who wants the best care for their babies to check out Dogwood Acres! I almost forgot to mention how the pets act as they arrive. They are so excited to be there! Pulling on the leash to get inside. It made my heart happy to see them loving it so much 🥰read more

First time ever boarding my dog so I was extremely anxious. Marley adjusted very well and was assigned her own personal... pet attendant. She was there for one week. When I went to pick her up staff came out to share how sweet she was and how much they were gonna to miss her kisses. They are a little costly and I did like that if I wanted a picture to be taken and sent to me that it was going to be an additional fee.read more

Boarded our greyhound here, lodging in their standard kennel. He seemed relaxed and happy when we picked him up after a... 5 night stay. They did a wonderful job bathing him as well; I slso think he enjoyed his meals & snacks. He is frightened of other dogs and they were very accommodating to allow him 2 nature walks a day instead of yard time with other dogs. Would definitely use again.read more

I love dogwood acres!! My dog goes there everyday M-F for daycare. My dog is naturally very anxious and timid, but she... is so confident when I see her interact with the staff. I drop her off every morning before work knowing that she’s safe, happy and cared for. Thank you dogwood for everything that you do for Dash!! Dogwood is her second home!read more

My dog loves this place. She is able to spend all day playing with new friends. The staff feed her and will bathe her... for an extra cost when I request it. I love how you can pick up your fur baby as late as 7pm, so I don’t have to rush to leave work. We can also watch the webcams throughout the day and watch all the dogs having fun and try to pick out ours.Overall, we’ve had a good experience with doggy daycare. Not sure about the boarding yet.read more

The staff at the Davidsonville location are so nice. My dog is very shy and he probably doesn't socialize with anyone... but they are still very nice to him. The place is clean and they offer so many activities, if your dog is interested.read more

Dogwood Acres is wonderful!! They are responsive, friendly, and professional! We were nervous leaving our pup for the... first time but we received an update, a cute little video, and a full report card at the end of our stay which we enjoyed so much! You can tell they really care about each individual dog. Our pup can’t wait to return to Dogwood Acres, thank you to the great staff!read more

My dog lodged with Dogwood Acres Davidsonville 7/25/2021-7/30/2021.Beware of the packages: We upgraded to the Ultimate... package because that was the only way to receive pictures. We did not receive any pictures, therefore we asked for a discount and was told NO, because all the other services in the “Ultimate Package” was provided. We also purchased pool time, and it is unclear if that was provided.Customer Service Subpar- During our transaction the woman very patronizing stated they would give us 2 pictures our next stay; but no discount. She spoke to us without ever giving eye contact, but managed to look up to confirm our credit card payment.Untrustworthy- When we got our Murphy home we noticed fluid on his comforter. Through further investigation we found 3 puncture wounds on his left ear. We were never notified of a dog bite or injury.On 8/6/2021 I called Dogwood Acres Davidsonville location to speak with the manager, was told that the manager may be busy. I was placed on hold then disconnected. I immediately called back and got the voice system. I then sent an email. As of today 8/11/2021 the manger has not contacted us. We have supported this facility for a few years now and to be intentionally disregarded is shameful.read more

We left our boy for 9 days. We loved that we could watch Teddy every day on the web cam. He was obviously having a... wonderful time. He was happy to see us, but not overly so, so he must have enjoyed his stay! He fell asleep almost immediately, so relaxed, tired, and happy. We will definitely use them for our boarding in the future.read more

This is a great place to leave your dog if your going on vacation, moving, or doing anything else that might require... you to leave your dog. They offer you many helpful services like cleaning your dog.read more

My dog is older & a bit demanding. She loves coming to dogwood acres - she will let me know if she didn’t have a good... time- but I know she feels loved & cared for on her stays. We will be back without question.read more
