Basil

Basil is a veteran of our Doggie Daycare and you can always count on him to keep all of the pups in line. Basil could be our poster pup for belly rubs – he’s an absolute pushover for them! If you happen to leave his side too soon, he will let you know with a gentle paw tap to the shin. Basil also has a great Bassett bark that lets the other pups know when they’re encroaching on his attention time. His droopy basset ears and big basset eyes make Basil irresistible!

Bend

"Ben-D-Boy" has been part of our family since his first daycare trial day as a small pup – of course, being a Bernese Mt. Dog, even “small” wasn’t so small!!  We’ve watched Bend grow up and luckily get to see him almost every week.  During his days, when he’s not cruising around the yard mingling with his fellow pups, you can find him in a corner of the yard taking a nice long siesta. Bend doesn’t just visit during his daycare days, we also get to hang out with him during his overnight stays too. As you can see from his photo – he is ready to roll over any time for a belly rub!!  If Bend knows you’re coming his way, he will be on his back, belly up before you even get there! Bend is our gentle giant.

Siam

Siam first visited us just shortly after trading in his previous life as a stray. It was clear from the moment we met him, that Siam is a cool cat!!  No surprise – he spends much of his time sleeping (he is a cat) but he always manages to find just the perfect comfy spot every time. Siam LOVES to be loved, and never misses a chance to do figure eights around your ankles for some extra love and attention. And if you didn’t get the hint, he’s not afraid to tell you with his Siamese meow. He also loves being bathed, which is uncommon for cats! When Siam’s not catching some Z’s, he loves to chase his crunchy kitty toy around the room, pick it up and carry it back, and then start all over again. Siam is definitely one COOL CAT! 

Saffy

Saffy has become a regular part of the Dogwood Family. She captured our hearts the minute she came in.  Saffy has an amazingly friendly and gentle disposition which totally matches her cuddly teddy bear look.  It’s impossible to be near Saffy without wanting to run your hands through those golden doodle curls. She always has a blast when she stays with us – she LOVES her nature walks and cuddle time and is always excited to play!!  We love it when Saffy comes to visit because she puts a smile on everyone’s face.
